BIG SEE Architecture Awards 2026 を受賞しました！

BIG SEE Architecture Awardsは、

東南ヨーロッパを拠点に、建築・インテリア・プロダクトなど

多様な分野における創造的な取り組みを評価する国際的なアワードです。

YAUは、北アルプスの麓・安曇野の森の中にある「遊んで学べる森の中のアウトドア用品店」です。

道具を選ぶ場所であると同時に、自然との関わり方を体験できる場所として、この空間をつくってきました。

森とつながること。

道具と日常がつながること。

人と自然が、ゆるやかに交わること。

この場所で生まれる体験が、少しでも日々の暮らしに残っていくように。

そんな思いで営業を続けてきたことが、このような形で評価されたことを嬉しく思います。

これからも、

ここでしかできない体験を届けていきます。

We are pleased to share that YAU’s building, “Hotakaariake-PJ,”

has received the BIG SEE Architecture Awards 2026.

The BIG SEE Architecture Awards is an international award based in Southeast Europe,

recognizing outstanding creative work across architecture, interior, and product design.

YAU is an outdoor shop located in the forest of Azumino,

at the foot of the Northern Alps in Nagano, Japan.

It is not only a place to choose tools,

but also a place to experience how we connect with nature.

Connecting with the forest.

Connecting tools with everyday life.

Allowing people and nature to gently intersect.

We hope that the experiences created here

will remain, even just a little, in everyday life.

We are truly honored that this vision has been recognized in this way.

We will continue to create experiences that can only be found here.
