古熊美帆 Miho Kokuma （KUMANOKO DESIGN)
●プロフィール
女子美術大学デザイン学科造形計画専攻卒業。スタジオ勤務、女子美術大学専任助手を経て、2016年にはパリのCité internationale des Artsに滞在し制作。現在は女子美術大学非常勤講師を務める傍ら、フリーランスのフォトグラファーとして活動。
ポートレートとドキュメンタリーを軸に、人が生きる時間や記憶の痕跡をテーマに制作を続けている。一枚の写真が捉える「瞬間」ではなく、継続することでしか見えてこない存在の変化を探究し、長期的な対話を重ねながら作品を制作している。東京・神奈川・栃木を拠点に活動。

Biography
Graduated from the Department of Design, majoring in Art and Design Planning, at Joshibi University of Art and Design. After working at a photography studio and serving as a full-time assistant at Joshibi University of Art and Design, she completed an artist residency at the Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris in 2016. She is currently a part-time lecturer at Joshibi University of Art and Design while working as a freelance photographer.Working across portraiture and documentary photography, her practice explores the traces of time and memory embedded in people's lives. Rather than focusing on the single moment captured by a photograph, she investigates the transformations of human existence that can only be revealed through long-term engagement. Through sustained dialogue with her subjects, she develops long-term photographic projects that examine the relationship between portraiture, memory, and the passage of time.
