つながっているみなさまへ 

こんにちは。大西琢也と申します。
 私は日本の福島県南会津町で 
根っこを育む自然学校：NPO法人森の遊学舎を代表し、 
「こめらの森・南会津」を主宰させていただいています。 

このプロジェクトは福島県南会津町にある古民家での暮らしを通して、
 東日本大震災（地震、津波、原発）により被災した子どもたちが、 
自らの身体と心を癒し元気になるために、
 小さな共同体をみんなで創り、継続して支える活動です。

 “こめら”とは、会津の言葉で“子どもたち”という意味です。

 子どもたちが自然に包まれた“こめらの森”での暮らしを通して、
 震災後から張り詰めていた気持ちを少しでも開放し、自分と向きあうこと。

 子どもだけでなく、お母さんお父さん、地域の方々と共に、
 自然の中で様々な「絆」を再発見し、
 希望を見出す「きっかけ」、「場作り」を行うことを目指しています。

 ２０１１年度は国内外200人・団体を越える方々からの
 ご支援、ご協力をいただきました。 
「夏休み」、「冬休み」、「春休み」に35家族76人が参加。 
のべ511泊以上を支援することができました。

 昨年、４回にわたり現地で絵のワークショップを開催し 
ご協力いただいた友人の画家Geoff Read さん。

 ご本人からのご紹介により、里クリスティーンさんと出逢い、
 みなさまとつながる事が出来ました。 

困難の中を生きる子ども達に心を寄せてくださり、 
本当にありがとうございます。

 ご存じの通り、２０１１年３月１１日に日本列島の太平洋側で発生した
 巨大な地震によって、世界は一変しました。 
地震や津波だけでなく、核発電所のメルトダウン。 
そして、メルトスルーまで事態は進行し、 
日本政府は収束宣言をしたものの、
 それは納得できるものではありません。

 核発電所から飛散した放射性物質。 
それは近隣だけでなく、日本列島、
 そして海も含め、海も山も越えた世界中へ拡散しました。

 地球に生かされている生き物として、１人の人間として、
 また共に生きているあらゆる生き物たちの仲間として、
 本当に悔しく、申し訳なく思っています。 ごめんなさい。 

子ども達は２０１１年という１年間を大混乱の中で過ごしました。
 地震によって破壊された校舎から避難し、 
校庭に集められ保護者が迎えに来て、戻った家も破壊されていました。
 どうしていいのか解らないが、誰に話していいのかも解らなかった。 
夏休みのキャンプ１週間の最終日、
子どもが泣きながら話してくれたことです。

 また別の子どもは、屋外で大好きなサッカーやテニスをすることを
 制限され、またその場所さえも放射性廃棄物の埋め立てによって
 立入禁止措置がとられて辛い状況を話しました。 

運動会やプール、遠足といった幼稚園や学校行事は中止になり、
 屋外で草や土に触れて遊ぶ事は激減しました。 

外で遊びたい。それが彼らの真っ直ぐな子どもの気持ちでした。

 友達は転校し、家族と離れて暮らす子どもたちもいます。 
この他にも様々な事実を観たり、声を叫びを直接、聴いてきました。

 そして、２０１２年。 

いったい何が変わったと言えるでしょうか。 
未だに日本列島は地震が頻発しています。
 大きな余震も予想されています。 放射性物質もそのままです。 

しかし、日本政府と電力関係者、
それに関わる人々は 地震対策も不十分なままに
５０基以上の核発電所について、 再稼働を強行するつもりです。
 電気は足りているのに、 お金という宗教に毒されているのです。

 政府の不誠実な言動や安全キャンペーンによって、
 たくさんの分断や差別が産まれています。 

母親を中心に、子どもたちの心身を守るために 日々を闘い、
努力している姿があります。 

同時に、子ども達は身近な家族や親族の意見が 
ぶつかり合っていることを見たり、聴いたりしています。 

そこで大人たちが「命」を、「こども」を どのように扱っているのか、
感じ取っています。 

どこに危険があるのか。 
雨が溜まりやすい溝を教えてくれた３歳の子ども。 

放射性物質による汚染だけでなく、 
身近な遊び場が奪われていることでどんな影響があるのでしょう。
 一つは心身の健全な成長を妨げています。 
経済至上主義による、行きすぎた近代化によって 
必要な生活体験や感動が不足する傾向はありました。 

しかし、今はそれらに加えて身体を動かさないこと、
 自然に触れないことによって、 体力が低下したり、
精神面での成長が損なわれています。 

それまで同じ年齢層ならば可能だったことが 
できなくなりつつあるのです。

 また別の親からの話では 風邪をひいてなおりにくく、
関節痛が続いた我が子について、 
身体を動かせないことが一つの要因だと医者に言われました。 

電気やお金のために、 
自分たちの未来や夢や命が危機にさらされている。

 そのことを子ども達は感じながら、
 それでも一生懸命に生きています。 

私たち自身も福島県に住んでいます。
 もう全滅と思われているかもしれない、その大地に今も生きています。

 「フクシマ」という単語は世界に広まりました。 
それは一つの地域を示す呼び名でしたが、 
今では繰り返されてきた「差別」の歴史に寄り添うものだと思えます。

 つい先日まで、 私自身もその「差別」に加担していたかもしれません。 

行政単位で言えば、福島県という県の境目でくくることは可能です。
 けれど実際、事故の影響はどうでしょうか。

 雲に乗って移動した放射性物質は隣にもその隣にも、
 当たり前のように２００ｋｍ以上離れた東京でさえ、
 それどころか、地球全体がその影響を受けているわけです。 

「フクシマ」の子どもたちのためにという支援が、行動が、想いが、
 たった１ｍ、いや１㎝、１ｍｍの違いで、
行政単位というヒトが作った境目で 新たな分断を生み出していくのです。

 福島県に住む子ども達は「フクシマ」ということで、
 近隣に住む子ども達は「フクシマではない」ということで。 

支援されたり、されなかったり。 
支援されすぎたり、その存在さえ気づかれなかったり。 子
どもたちを囲い込み、 自分達より弱いものを見つけ出すこと。 

「フクシマ」を連呼することで、何が産まれていくのでしょう。 
私はもうやめました。 

１年経って、私たちのプロジェクトが出した結論は
 「福島県」以外の子どもたちも受け入れることです。 

被災地であってもなくてもいいのです。

 子どもたちが今しかできないことを一緒にする。
 それだけで十分です。 
野外で遊んだり、 自然や友達の素晴らしさに出逢い、 
自分がどれだけ愛されている存在なのかを感じられる。 

人間だけではなく、全ての生き物たちが幸せになるために、
 何ができるのか。 
大きな輪の中で生かされていることを感じてほしいのです。 

当たり前のことが、何であるのか。 
子どもたちを慈しむ。 
全てをまるごと受け入れて歩く。 
日々の暮らしの中に幸せがある。 
全てのことが、ヒトが、存在がつながっている。

 私自身、忘れがちなこれらの大切なことを、
 思い出す機会をもらいました。 
その意味で、この危機的状況にあって、「ありがとう！」と言いたい。

 私が希望を観ている理由はここに在るのです。 

それは私自身が変われるということ。 
他の誰のせいでもない、 私が気づいて変わって、
行動すればいいのだと。 

たくさんのできない理由。挙げればきりがありません。 

でもそれ以上に、できる理由を探しだし、産み出し、創りだす。

 そのチカラが一人ひとりにあることに気づきました。 
私たちは既に持っているのです。 

子ども達に、世界中の子ども達に、
 何を手渡していきたいのか。 

それはモノでも、お金でもなく、
 「生きる喜び」と「大きな世界観」です。 １

人ひとりのかけがえのない「命」。
 命という種を育む。 その豊かな土壌を育む。

 １人ひとりが一滴の水となり、一握りの土となり、 
根っこを育み、土に還り次世代の栄養となる。 
それを繰り返していきたい。 

それぞれの暮らしに根ざした想いや行動が 
細胞分裂のように小さく丁寧に紡がれていく時。

 地球規模につながっていることを 
子ども達自身も実感し、 
笑顔の時をすごすことができると思います。 

困難は人をしなやかにします。
 そして弱さを知る逞しさを育てます。 

みなさまが、子ども達というかけがえのない存在を意識し、
 心を寄せてくださっていること。 それを決して忘れません。 

夏休みだけでなく、冬休み、春休み、
そしてその先も 出逢う子ども達にみなさんの愛を伝えます。

 本当にありがとうございます。 
ちょうど、８月１８日はキャンプの最終日。

 夏の終わりにイベントを開いています。 
嬉しい、楽しい、喜びに、幸せで満ちあふれたひと時を 
お互いに過ごしましょう。

 いつでも、どこにいても、共にあることを感謝して。

 To you who are connected Hello. 
I am Takuya Onishi. 
The natural school where I cherish a root in Minami-Aizu-cho, Fukushima in Japan: I am allowed to superintend "Komera no mori (children's forest) and Minami-Aizu " on behalf of NPO Morinoyugakusya. This project is the activity which lets a life in the old private house in Minami-Aizu-cho, Fukushima pass, and makes all together the community where it is small since the children who suffered a great deal of damage by the East Japan great earthquake (an earthquake, tsunami, nuclear power plant) become healing energy about their body and heart, and it supports continuously. "Komera" means it as "children" in Aizu's words. Children need to let a life in "Komera no mori (children's forest)" wrapped automatically pass, need to open wide the feeling strained after the earthquake disaster, and face yourselves. It aims at performing the "cause" which rediscovers various "bonds" in nature and finds out hope not only with a child but with mother father and people of the area, and "making a place." I received support from people exceeding in and outside the country [ 200 ] and an organization, and cooperation in the 2011 fiscal year. 35 families [ 76 ] participate in the "summer vacation", a "winter vacation", and "spring vacation." It was able to state and was able to support 511 or more nights. The painter Geoff Read of the friend who held the workshop of the picture and cooperated 4 times there last year. As you know, the world was changed completely according to the huge earthquake which occurred in the Pacific Ocean side of the Japanese Islands on March 11, 2011. The radioactive material which dispersed from nuclear power plant. It was diffused all over the world also beyond the sea and a mountain not only including the neighborhood but including the Japanese Islands and the sea. As a living thing efficiently employed in the earth, I am really mortifying and sorry as a friend of all live living things as [ both ] one human being. I'm sorry. Children passed while [ one year ] calling it 2011 in wild confusion. It took refuge from the school building destroyed by the earthquake, and was brought together in the schoolyard, the guardian picked up, and the house which returned was also destroyed. Although it did not understand what I could do, I do not understand [ that it is easy to talk to whom ] a thing. It is having talked, while the final day of one week of camps of the summer vacation and a child cried. Moreover, another child had it restricted to play favorite soccer and tennis outdoors, and the off-limits measure was taken by the reclamation of radioactive waste, and even the place spoke about the hot situation. Kindergartens and school events, such as an athletic meet, and a pool and an excursion, were stopped, and touching grass and the ground outdoors and playing decreased sharply. I would like to play outside. It was their straight child's feeling. A friend changes to another school and the children who separate with a family and live are also. For electricity or money, Their future and dream, and the life are exposed to the crisis. While children feel that, it is still hard alive. We ourselves live in Fukushima Prefecture. It is still alive on the ground which may already be considered to be total destruction. The word "Fukushima" spread in the world. Although it was a name which shows one area, it seems to be what nestles up to the history of repeated "discrimination" now. Possibly I myself had participated in the "discrimination" just till the other day. If it says per administration, it is possible to bundle with the boundary line of a prefecture called Fukushima Prefecture. However, how is the influence of an accident actually? Even Tokyo which the radioactive material which rode and moved to clouds naturally left not less than 200 km a next door and next to it is subject to the influence for the whole earth, not to mention it. the children of "Fukushima" sake -- the thought of action is [ the support to say ] disagreeable only 1 m -- it is 1? and a 1-mm difference, and produces new division on the boundary line which humans called an administration unit made. The children who the children who live in Fukushima Prefecture are "Fukushima", and live in the neighborhood are "not being Fukushima." It is not supported. He accepts all the whole and walks. Happiness is in a life of every day. Existence is connected [ all the things ] by humans. The opportunity to remember myself and these important things that tend to be forgotten was got. I would be in this critical situation and would like to say "thank you" in that sense. The event is opened in the end of summer. Let's pass the time mutually with delightful pleasant fortunate with joy and filled with it. Wherever it may be in, both a certain things are appreciated always.
